Walcome,

Lé Toots once told me: “Nothing is permanent.” At the time, Ah didn’t know what she was referring to.

Was she talking about naps? Those always end too soon in my opinion. Or, maybe the wind in my fur? That always feels so guid!

Neither, actually. She was referring to our home…

ree

Are we really leaving our home? Ah’ve thought very much about this in my high window perch.

In between yawns and dumplin’ makin’, Ah decided maybe change will be guid for all of us. Cuz change can be guid! Even if it takes a long time to complete.

For example, it was strange to see the pretty garden ornaments uprooted, and scattered about. But Ah can already imagine the beautiful new garden they will be planted in. Just imagine all the future friends Ah’ll be able to show my little fences to!

Ah think Ah understand now that nothing is permanent. Not naps. Not even the salty wind.

And Ah can get used to our things being in weird places now and again… hello big pillows! Don't mind if Ah do.

At least we can say we had a lot of fun in our home. And that's because we always made the best of everything! Like inside pillows being outside and when furniture is stacked super high.

And Ah decided, Ah like change! Even if it makes me a little sad.

Like little planets, Toots and Ah will follow the sunlight and bask in its winter warmth. And like little winter bears, we’ll hibernate (that's a really long nap!).

ree

That reminds me of a bear friend Ah hope to meet one day. This wise, yellow bear once said, “We didn’t realize we were making memories. We just knew we were having fun."

And as long as Ah have mah family, Ah know Ah'll have fun!

Until summer time,

Beans
