4/23: The Guid Life

Walcome,

Ah'm inside more than Ah'm outside.

Which, is fine by me because the inside can be fun, too. There are always plenty of comfy places to lay while also get attentions. Ah feel lucky to always have both!

Other times, Ah go exploring in the inside caverns, which is a true test of my physique. Those caverns sure are tight! Today's exploration only revealed gems from the 1990's.

But ever since Ah was a kitten, Ah've always loved the outside. Back then, Ah was too little to be in the outside, so Ah would read with my family about all the friends Ah would meet one day.

Now that Ah've grown, Ah've learned of all the best spots to look for friends and have fun!

Some days, Ah just relax by the pillar of water in the Dead Marches, waiting for watery lizards or thirsty birds to stop by. Toots is often nearby, too. It's fun to look for friends together!

Some days when Ah'm in the outside, Ah'm also in the inside! Shaded and enclosed, the big sailboat is a comfy place to lay. Plus, it's a guid hiding place for when Red Beard says it's time to go back into the inside.

But mah most favorite part of the outside is always when mah sissy is around. She doesn't particularly enjoy the inside as much as Ah do, so it's fun when we can spend time together.

One afternoon, Ah was thinking about all of the pretty outdoor things when Ah just couldn't keep it in any longer. Startling Toots, Ah shouted, "WOW! Aren't these the joys of being small, sneaky and squeaky?!"

Lying on the ground looking at me sideways, Lé Toots just stared at me.

Perhaps she was reflecting on the sad changes in Fangorn Forest and my raccoon friends. Mah excitement began to pass when she agreed, "Oui, Beans. You are likely correct. And Happy Birthday, Silly One."

Ah sure am grateful to have guid attention, guid comfy, guid inside and guid outside! For Ah'm 4 years old today and Ah've a guid life with mah family.
