Luckily, I normally have a choice compared to Beans, Ze Silly One. Always optimistic, he makes the best of his circumstances.

Always striving to find ze most exquisite balance, both can be achieved if one knows what one wants.

If on ze porch, a higher ground is acquired despite an obscured vision. If on ze patio, one can clearly monitor ze low ground.

Often, ze decision is simple and can be determined by observing ze seasonal weather patterns.

Mini-Moi, ze French Cat Militia’s newest Captain, monitors our historical rain fall. Reporting no rain today, she recommends ze patio to be ze wisest choice. Outranking Corporal Beans, Mini-Moi's relentless duty is admirable.

With no rain on ze horizon, ze morning sun warms ze patio pavers to ze perfect temperature. Transitioning to underneath a chair, ze shade and warmth is quite comfortable.

Before long, ze time of rest comes to a close. But first, I must quench my thirst before afternoon patrol. Hydrate or die!
