Walcome,

Ah love our porch. What would Toots and Ah do without it? It sure is nice being able to see and feel the outside but still be inside.

Aside from being comfortably comfy all the time, mah favorite part of the porch is that I can have mah friends over! Like an air-lock of friendship, Ah invite them in to play and don’t let them leave until they’ve had fun.

On one day, Lizzy the Lizard’s cousin, Mack, and Ah were enjoying each other’s company. We told jokes, high-fived and smelled!

Ah told Mack she smelled really guid, just like Lizzy, and that lizard smell was one of my favorite smells. Ah thought she knew how much Ah like the smell of lizards but she seemed surprised. Perhaps lizards don’t talk to each other very much and Lizzy never told her.

Even though she didn’t like me sniffing her very much, she was smiling while being picked up with mah mouth. Fun achieved!

On another different day, Ah found Teddy the Toad at the doorstep waiting patiently to play. Teddy prefers to play on the patio. Fine by me!

Ah don’t like toad smell as much as Ah like lizard smell, but Teddy is fun to watch hop around! We played in the sand and even played Hide and Seek. Ah'm a better Seeker than Teddy, but he’s a much better Hider.

Ah got stuck on one of my Hiding turns! After Teddy and Lé Toots enjoyed their giggles watching me in mah hiding spot, we went back onto the porch for some relaxation. Fun achieved!

Teddy doesn’t say much, he mostly just stares with his big toady eyes. Ah tried to think what he was thinking about but then Ah started thinking about something else and forgot that Ah was trying to think about what he was thinking.

Ah eventually thought that Teddy must save his voice for when the sun goes down to be able to clearly sing his croaky hymns.

When the day was over, Ah bid Teddy goodnight and he hopped on his merry little way outside.

The porch was quiet again and Ah started to reflect on how much fun Ah had with mah friends. Although it didn't take long before Ah was distracted by something else, hard to say what it was though.

Sometimes, Ah just get the feeling like A’m being watched.

Hae a guid day,

Beans
