6/30: Room To Grow

Walcome,

Beans here. Well, it's summer again and oh it sure is guid again. It's a beautiful day today, so how about a fun walk out to have a look about.

Let's start in the back back, shall we?

As we do, we all recently put greeneries in our box of fresh, brown ground. Our rewards will soon come after some waters and enough suns. Although Ah don't find those leafy things tasty myself, Ah still like helping Mum and Da in the great outdoors.

Ah don't tend to wander past here while on outings out here in the back back. It's always worth saying a quick "hello!" to the little trees near the woods along the way though.

But let's walk quick now, because Creatures much bigger than us lives out here. Ah often will perk mah ears to the side, just in case a somethin' tries to be sneaky behind me.

Now this is nice and safe underneath this kind Oak.

Let's head to the middle and Ah'll share a silly Creature story while we walk:

Near our olde wood collection, our small wooden Fish school tends to disagree a lot. One Fish, Miny, seems to think much differently than the rest and is frequently frustrated by Meeny and Eeny. Those two Fish were both very excited about the Spoon that showed up recently, of whom they greatly admired and started calling Moe.

Ah was sittin' over near the collection and getting a bit sleepy but, if Ah understood correctly, Eeny and Meeny were trying to convince Miny that they want Moe to join their school. Ah think because its wooden like them and that . . .

. . . WAIT . . . pause please . . . Ah've got to climb this other Oak tree!

Phew, much better now. Sometimes you just never know when these big ole trees just need a guid ole fashion climbin'. Anyways, back to mah story:

Surprisingly short story long, the Spoon isn't a Fish and it might make more sense for it to be in a school for Spoons rather than in a school of Fish. Ah think, maybe.

At last, we've made it to the middle where the shed is and Ah heard it might get paint on it soon. Ah recently chased a Squirrel through these ferns and up that baby Birch tree! A fast little shrieker, that one.

Let's keep walkin' to the front front. There's a real special flower to share that you might be familiar with, since it used to grow at our old home. And keep an eye out because Ah think Toots is sunning around here.

There she is! Enjoying the sidewalk grasses she is:

Guid'ay mah sissy!

The front front: Walcome to the place Ah look at a lot through my window perch all year long.

Throughout the fast changes in these Northern parts, Ah personally like watching the front yard change from white to brown to green and... pink!

Toots usually has a better way with words than me, but all Ah can think is... wow! Ah'm always surprised at how quick everything gets so colorful around here.

And to make it all the better, our things on the olde Crab Apple tree add relaxing musicals too, with the long jinglers and hungry little Chickadee birdies.

Thank you for stopping by for a while to join me on this adventurous walk. There's always something different and interesting to look at every day around here.

In the meantime, the French Cat Militia will be enjoying these cooler lands that we all gratefully call home.

Have a guid day,

Beans
