7/31: Summer Sprung

Even though it is mid-summer, each day feels like Spring here. It seems like every time Ah turn around a new pretty wildflower appears.

Spring already sprung months ago but it sure is sprungy around here. Like me!

Lé Toots and Ah have been very diligent in the scouting of our new home. Initially, we took turns patrolling but now we are back in action as a full team again! So happy.

Ah've been having extra fun surveying our many low-lying bushy bushes and high-growing grassy grasses.

Traversing all of these greens isn't simple and actually takes some planning and practice. Especially when trying to catch sneaky critters!

Of course, Toots makes it look easy as always.

My personal strategy?

It's simple really - be sprungy and spring in head-first!

Don't forget to pull the ears back.

After long expeditions like this, it's important to take breaks. Sometimes just sitting amongst all the green is best. It's fun, and energy is restored!

After long days like these come to a close, Ah like to just sit, look around and listen.

The refreshing northern winds makes the whole world sway; the millions of leaves, grasses, sticks, flowers and my fur. This is enough to make me sleepy alongside the quaint sounds of our many chimes.

At the very end of the day, there is usually only one thing left to do... snack.

There are so many different types of grasses that I haven't found my favorite yet. More on that soon.
