Walcome,

Time sure passes strangely. One day, Ah’m running around our big backyard, and the next day we’re hibernating again!

ree

Well, on cozy Winter days like these, Ah like remembering my memories. So, Ah climb in the reflection box and reflect…

ree

Before everything became white again, Ah remember all that green and some brown!

ree

For a few months, Ah kept watch over our collection of tree pieces. These parts will eventually become smaller parts, so Ah made sure nothing happened to them in the meantime.

Ah decided to scramble over all the pieces and practice my balance.

This was tricky because some were wobbly and tippy. A few were pointy and bumpy. But, all smelled guid!

Of course, by air or ground, Ah was always multitasking and being aware of my surroundings.

It’s all fun and games until a squirrel steals a branch or a woodpecker makes a hole in our wood.

ree

Lé Toots knows a lot about trees, including each of their different names. Of which, Ah'm always excited to learn about.

ree

There are a few trees she told me about that Ah’ll always remember.

How can Ah forget the friendly trees that so kindly shaded me?

ree

Well, the leafless one in front of our wood couldn't shade, actually.

Toots called that particular Apple Tree a “snag.” It’s called a snag because it’s still in the ground, but it isn’t alive anymore… so, it will become part of our collection someday Ah'm sure.

ree

Further in front of our collection was snag’s partner, another great big Apple Tree that was splendidly green!

All those little leaves were small but there were so many of them that there was plenty of shade. That one really kept the hot sun off my fur; a real nice fellow, that one.

Ah remember how incredible it was to discover that Apple Tree’s apples last Summer!

ree

This was a surprise even to Toots because she said that two Apple Trees have to cross-pomegranate to be able to make apples. But, the other was a snag without any green though! Pure magic, we believe.

While under the Magic Apple Tree’s shadey shade, Ah had to be careful not to get bumped on my head by magical apples. A surprisingly hard task while Ah was busy eating tiny green toe grasses.

ree

Even further in front of our collection was a Pine Tree that tried its best to shade.

It was missing branches but Ah vividly remember gazing across our green land from beneath. The Summer warmth felt perfectly right, there.

Something wonderful about memories is that the more often memories are remembered, the easier they are to remember.

It's sometimes easier with closed eyes, even though that often leads to naps.

ree

If the outside is white, we can always still have a guid time. Reflecting about memories in the reflection box will be a happy memory too!

Have a guid day,

Beans
